Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
These terms apply to purchases made through our website at seriouspleasure.co.uk and to your use of the site generally. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
Serious Pleasure is a trading name of Serious Industries Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17237390). You can contact us at hello@seriouspleasure.co.uk.
1. Age restriction
This website is for adults aged 18 or over. By using this site or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to cancel any order where we have reason to believe the customer does not meet this requirement.
2. Your order and our contract
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract between us is only formed when we confirm your order has been dispatched. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order before dispatch — for example, if a product is out of stock or if a pricing error has occurred. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.
We will send you an order confirmation by email when you place your order, and a further email when your order has been dispatched.
3. Pricing and availability
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
We take care to ensure prices and product information are accurate. If we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
However, this right does not apply to goods that are sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed after delivery. Because of the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns where the original sealed packaging has been opened, regardless of whether the item has been used. This is a legal exception under the Regulations and not simply our policy.
For items that remain in their original, unopened and sealed packaging, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange a return. See our Returns Policy for full details.
5. Faulty goods and your statutory rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If your item develops a fault, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the circumstances and timing.
We provide a one-year guarantee on all products. If something goes wrong, please get in touch — we will do our best to put it right. Our Returns Policy sets out how to raise a fault.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Delivery
We deliver to UK postcodes only. Delivery timescales and charges are set out in our Delivery Information page. While we do everything we can to meet estimated timescales, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, and product descriptions — is owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of this website without our prior written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the total value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. The terms in place at the time of your order will apply to that order.
